A midsummer dream
This is probably the best way to describe how A Casa da Eira saw the light. It just happened that once again we were combing the villages of the Riberira Sacra area when suddenly we found the house which, in the future, would be our bed&breakfast. Or should we better say the house found us. Immediately we were captivated by its long chestnut-wood balcony, its sand-coloured granite stone walls and the situation of the village at the upper part of the River Sil Canyon.

A Casa da Eira is set in Alberguería, a small mountain village of 50 inhabitants situated at the higher part of the river Sil canyon in the midst of the historic area of “The Ribeira Sacra” – the holy riverside- known for its Romanesque art. The river Sil canyon is a special area of conservation within the European ecological network known as 'Natura 2000'. Let yourself be seduced by the hundred-year-old chestnut woods, the large variety of animal and plant species, the vineyards on the riverbanks and the granite rock formations.
Activities: culture, town and landscape trips, hill walking, canoeing, climbing, swimming in the nearby dam, mountain biking, horse riding and waterway excursions through the river Sil Canyon.
The house, set well back from the main road and free from traffic noise, is comfortable, amongst of its many special charms are the traditional wooden balcony with view on the river Sil Canyon and the garden facing south.

You may decide not to stay at A Casa da Eira and will be entitled to a reimbursement of all the amounts that had been paid in advance. Nevertheless, the following rules will apply:
- If the cancellation is made with more than 7 days in advance or less than 30 days before the date of arrival, we will deduct 40% of the deposit.
-If the cancellation is made within the seven days before arrival, you will not be entitled to receive any reimbursement.
A Prepayment of 40% of the total reservation amount is requested upon booking.
